About Jack
I'm a clinical psychologist with nine years of experience helping people navigate mental health difficulties. After four years working at Hillmorton Hospital with Te Whatu Ora, I moved into private practice in early 2022. My areas of focus and expertise include anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, adult ADHD, neurodiversity, and trauma. I am an accredited EMDR practitioner for those carrying the weight of difficult trauma experiences, and I'm also ACC accredited. Everything I do is evidence-based, drawing on CBT, ACT, and EMDR therapies. Above all, I aim to create a space where you feel safe and supported enough to make real progress.
Adult ADHD Assessments
Jack provides comprehensive psychological assessments for ADHD in adults. He offers both in-person and online assessments.
Important changes to ADHD medication prescribing for 2026
Specially trained GPs and nurse practitioners are now able to assess, diagnose, and prescribe for adult ADHD. However, not all will offer this service, and it is not yet clear exactly who will.
Recommendation for clients considering an ADHD assessment booking
It is recommended that you contact your GP/medical practice to confirm whether your GP can prescribe stimulant medication if you are diagnosed with ADHD by a clinical psychologist. Most GPs are accepting diagnoses of ADHD from clinical psychologists and will be willing to prescribe stimulant medication.
If your medical practice indicates that they will not be able to prescribe stimulant medications, you will need a private psychiatrist to prescribe medication after your assessment. Jack can refer you to one after your assessment if required.
Assessments cost $1800 (GST Inclusive)
